Федерація петанку України зареєстрована на початку квітня 2007 року. Президент федерації Петро Гойс. У травні вона стала членом Всесвітньої федерації петанку.

До федерації петанку України входить всього два ужгородські клуби, але петанк в Україні активно розвивається. У травні 2007 року Федерація сприяла проведенню крупного міжнародного турніру в Ужгороді “Сакура-2007” за участі близько 100 петанкістів з 6 країн. У травні-червні під егідою Федерації було проведено перший чемпіонат України з триплетів. У серпні 2007 році жіноча збірна України з петанку запрошена на Чемпіонат Європи з петанку в місто Анкара (Туреччина), а у вересні на Чемпіонат світу в місто Паттая (Таїланд).

Petanque federation of Ukraine is registered at the beginning of April, 2007. President of federation is Peter Hois.

In May it became the member of the World petanque federation. Our federation consists of 2 petanque clubs of Uzhgorod,but petaque in Ukraine actively develops. In May, 2007 Federation was instrumental in conducting of large international tournament in Uzhgorod called "Sakura-2007" at participation of about 100 players from 6 countries. In May-June under an aegis Federation the first championship of Ukraine (triplets) was conducted. In August 2007 the womanish combined team of Ukraine is invited on Petanque championship of Europe in Ankara (Turkey), and in September on World Cup in Pattaya (Thailand).
